The Velvet Kitchen is a private catering business operating in Windsor and surrounding areas. We offer a seasonal menu of modern European dishes providing you with restaurant quality food at home.
We set up the Velvet Kitchen having completed the Leiths Diploma of Food and Wine.

Let us help to make your event stylish, effortless and memorable. We will create and deliver a bespoke selection of elegant buffet dishes.

We have the recipe for a great party! We will bring our sophisticated, elegant party food with hosting skills that ensure your party is a success.
How to order
Simply select the same menu choice for each course for all your guests, advising us of any dietary requirements.
Call Kate or Alison or use the form below. Please place your order a minimum of 48 hours before your event.
For our Dinner Party Delivered service we provide the same dishes for all guests. However, if you have a guest with specific dietary requirements, please do let us know and we’ll do our utmost to accommodate.
Dinner Party Delivered – we deliver to your door, then you take over. Cold dishes are delivered ready for you to plate up. Hot dishes are delivered in foil containers, ready for you to pop in the oven to heat through.
We can arrange to serve bowl food and canapés if required – please ask for details of costs when placing your order.
We can. We offer vegetarian and vegan dishes as standard, and we’re able to supply details of the 14 standard food allergens as they appear in our recipes. Please let us know of any specific requirements as soon as possible so we can tailor your menu accordingly.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking and we require the balance to be paid 7 days prior to your event. If you cancel the booking 14 days prior before, the deposit is non-refundable as we will have incurred costs. Full payment will be retained if the event is cancelled within 7 days. A booking form with full terms and conditions will be provided, payment by bank transfer is preferable.
We’re based in Windsor and deliver to the surrounding area – see the list of areas covered below. If you are outside of this area, please let us know as we may still be able to help.
